A recent news release from the American Soybean Association (ASA), announced that in collaboration with Valent they are now accepting applications for Ag Voices of the Future. This program allows college students to look behind the curtain and observe how agricultural policies are made in Washington while also receiving information on advocacy and the significant legislative, trade and regulatory issues that impact farmers.
The opportunity to collaborate with professionals working in Washington allows those admitted into the program to gain experience and learn more about careers related to agriculture policy. The class size for 2020 is limited and all applicants must be students and over the age of 18 to be eligible.
To apply for the ASA and Valent Ag Voices of the Future Program, visit the AFA website and click “Apply Now” on the right-hand side. The application deadline is March 11th. Along with the program, there are scholarships available to applicants. Read the full news release from ASA for additional information and tips on applying.
