I’m Dr. Carrie Laboski, a State Extension Specialist in Soil Fertility and Nutrient Management. My interests include soil dynamics of potassium in soybean growth, enhancing nutrient use efficiency and better understanding fertilizer requirements. I’m also investigating plant availability of manganese in glyphosate resistant soybean systems. Beyond fieldwork, I’m a Professor in the Department of Soil Science at the University of Wisconsin—Madison and earned my Ph.D in Soil Science for the University of Minnesota in 2001.
